Our objectives
- De EU moet zijn doelstellingen (NDC*, nationaal bepaalde bijdrage) overeenkomstig de Overeenkomst van Parijs aanpassen door een vermindering van 80 % van de uitstoot van broeikasgassen tegen 2030 na te streven om tegen 2035 netto op 0 uit te komen, en de Europese klimaatwetgeving dienovereenkomstig aanpassen.
- Er moet een EU-koolstofaanpassing aan de grens worden ingevoerd.
- Er mogen geen vrijhandelsovereenkomsten worden gesloten met partnerlanden die zich niet houden aan een traject dat volgens de Climate Action Tracker overeenkomt met 1,5 °C.
- De EU moet voor de leerplannen van alle lidstaten gratis leermiddelen ontwikkelen over de gevolgen van klimaatverandering.

Why it is a climate emergency
Human-made climate change has been recognized as a serious threat to the global ecosystem, as well as human life and society, by the scientific community and by most global political institutions, including the UN.
The picture above shows one of the currently ongoing disasters live happening. Billions of tons of ice on a daily basis are currently melting in Greenland. This in retrospective might well be recognized as one of the tipping points in the climate catastrophe when people look back in anger a few decades in the future.
